In Kuala Lumpur from 3 to 5 July (Mon to Wed), in Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) from 10 July to 14 July. KL trip is to visit my relatives, and for my mum to find out exactly how my late Aunty Molly passed away, given that during the funeral, everything was so in a rush, and everyone was just in a daze about her passing. KK trip is for my mum to visit her brother Uncle Raymond... and I'll just make use of the opportunity to tag along to see what KK looks like.
I've never been to East Malaysia! Should be quite an eye-opener hopefully.
Thank God for today's church service. Overnight, people stole the electric power meter from the church... and that rendered the entire 2nd floor of the building power-less. But luckily, the ground floor (where the Shalom kids ministry and the office is located) still had power... so they moved all the necessary equipment (and chairs) downstairs... and the service still went on as usual. I like my two new pastors, Andrew and Joseph. Really have a heart for God, and they are very youth-oriented.
Met up with clarence in Orchard Road yesterday. He was my junior in Catholic High, and we went backpacking in Germany (2003) together with his brother! So fun - those days. Remembered our "walking to Poland" adventure, standing in awe of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin... and all the beautiful cities we visited in a whirlwind one month tour of Germany - Cottbus, Berlin, Potsdam, Hamburg, Bremen, Cologne, Frankfurt, down the Rhine River, Munich, Leipzig, Dresden, and then back to Cottbus again. If only I was in Germany right now hehe.
