It's like.. my cousin Ansgar is asking my folks to let him do the wisdom tooth op, and he's not charging us for it. But my dad is somewhat uncomfortable with it.. i think he insists on paying something, at the bare minimum the materials for the op. After all, it's considered a major op, and Ansgar should be paid for it, even if we're close relatives. My dad prefers me to do it here in JB... Meeting Ansgar at his clinic late afternoon tmrw, i.e. going to s'pore tmrw.. *argh* I just want this done as fast as possible.
About time I started getting the air tickets back to Perth too. I want to go back on Valuair, since the savings are about $200+ or so compared to SIA or Qantas. Never mind it'd be an uncomfortable 5.5 hours back to WA (which is half an hour longer than SIA), since there'll be not much inflight entertainment - you've got to pay $5 for the headphones, and the movie screen is right in front there. If the savings was less than $100, I might still go on Qantas or SIA. But $200+ savings is really quite substantial. Hey, this suspiciously reminds me elasticities of demand haha.
If i go back on Valuair, I can say that the departure will be 1740hrs and arrive in Perth at 2305hrs (not exactly the best time to be at Perth airport) - Valuair only flies once a day to Perth. But yah, whatever. Better get the ticket fast. 20+ feb is peak period for students flying back home.
Wonder why no one's e-mailed me abt tmrw's meeting yet? supposed to meet bk and cram tmr.
Looking at next semester's timetable (www.timetable.uwa.edu.au), it is possible for me to squeeze my timetable into 3 days (tue, wed, thur) .. i.e. having a long and unproductive weekend. But probably will shift ES 101 film session to Friday (you have a choice btwn a Wed or Fri session), and have a few of my tuts on Monday. Otherwise I can imagine myself sleeping across from Friday to Monday. =x
Will probably be a stoned person on Thursday:
1100-1145 European Studies 101 (Fox LT)
1200-1245 Anthropology 101 (Social Sciences LT)
1300-1345 History 121 (Alexander LT)
1400-1445 Political Science 101 (Social Sciences LT)
That's all of my four units in one day. bleah. But not complaining though.. looking forward to school and feeling suspiciously bored these days. Need something to occupy myself.. sth like going for a wisdom tooth op. haha.
