Heh. If you're still not aware, I've been away from S'pore / JB for exactly 2 months already. :)
The parcel from home reached me yesterday night. Many thanks to cc's dad for bringing the parcel along with him when he flew to perth yesterday. cc's convocation is this tuesday, and me and a few OCF-ers will probably go and... i guess, share his joy when he comes out and urm, throw the mortar board in the air?
I was very happy last night, despite being (and still) sick. Like, I'm reunited with my CD cum radio player.. :) Tuned in to 98.5 FM (Sonshine Radio). Yeah it's "Sonshine", not "Sunshine"... it's actually a community radio station, a bit like class 95... run by christian groups, which explains the "son". Other quite popular radio stations here: Nova 93.7fm, 92.9fm (that's like the P10 of s'pore).. yeah good stuff. got my belt.. thank god for that. more highlighters to colour my papers yellow, red, and whatever have you not.
Signed up for French classes just now.. yeah. finally putting dreams into action. The first class starts on 11 october... 3 hours per week and the term ends on 18 dec. quite cheap actually. 270 bucks for 10 weeks.. that works out to $9.47 per hour.
Heard about the bombing of the Australian embassy in Jakarta yesterday.. quite tragic. and i guess it will affect the outcome of the federal elections here come 9 october.. yeah that's it for this week :)
